Based on its collaboration with the renowned animation studio Disney Pixar, Honda has recently created special editions of the Honda Giorno+ scooter line with designs inspired by Disney Pixar characters. Following editions such as the Giorno+ Donald Duck to celebrate the 90th birthday of Donald Duck and the Honda Giorno+ Disney Fantasia 85 Years Limited Edition – commemorating the 85th anniversary of the musical film Fantasia… Honda Thailand has recently partnered with Disney Pixar again to create the new Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear, inspired by Buzz Lightyear from the animated film Toy Story.

This version was developed by Honda based on the standard Giorno+ 125 previously distributed in Thailand and entered the Vietnamese market through some unofficial dealerships starting in late 2023. Therefore, the Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear is essentially no different in design or dimensions compared to other Giorno+ 125 versions. This version still has the same length, width, and height measurements of 1,902 x 683 x 1,144 (mm), with a seat height of 780 mm.
The most noticeable difference on the Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear comes from its exterior, with a white, green, and purple color scheme, inspired by astronaut Buzz Lightyear from the animated film Toy Story.

Specifically, this version features a predominantly white color scheme, combined with many details designed in harmony with the space theme, from the purple headlight bezels and dashboard to the emblems and decorative elements specifically designed by Honda for this model. The body is adorned with famous symbols associated with Buzz Lightyear, such as the Space Ranger logo and space-related technical markings.
The Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear also features details familiar to Toy Story fans, including an added sticker with Andy's signature, a mnemonic for remembering Buzz Lightyear's signature on the footrest in the film, and the Toy Story Soft Emblem.
Honda Thailand announced that the Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear edition will be produced in a limited quantity of only 2,000 units.

The flat footrest area is decorated with Buzz Lightyear-style aluminum floor mats featuring a spaceship pattern. Honda Thailand states that only 2,000 units of the Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear edition will be produced. Notably, each unit is individually numbered, from unit 1 to 2000.
Aside from the aforementioned differences, the Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear retains the same features, technology, and engine as other Giorno+ versions. It also features a front storage compartment with an integrated phone charging port, and an under-seat storage compartment with a capacity of up to 30 liters, capable of holding numerous personal items and a helmet. For user convenience, this Thai-made scooter also includes a front fuel tank cap, positioned just below the luggage hook.

Similar to the Giorno+ version previously imported to Vietnam, the Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear uses a single-cylinder, 125cc eSP+ gasoline engine, liquid-cooled, with integrated electronic fuel injection and idling stop technology. This engine is paired with a CVT continuously variable transmission.
Currently, the limited-edition Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear, with only 2,000 units produced, is being distributed in Thailand at a price of 74,900 baht, equivalent to approximately 59.41 million VND. It is possible that the Honda Giorno+ Buzz Lightyear will enter the Vietnamese market in the near future through unofficial dealerships specializing in imported motorcycles.
