Accordingly, three Vietnamese cable car lines were honored by Travel + Leisure in the list of 11 most spectacular scenic cable cars in Asia, located in Phu Quoc ( An Giang ), Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), and Da Nang.

Comparing cable cars to a melody, what makes them unique is not the destination but the journey suspended in mid-air, Travel + Leisure noted that the structures honored on this list must meet criteria regarding the uniqueness of the natural landscape, the complexity of the construction techniques, and the ability to provide visitors with a panoramic viewing experience from above.

Leading the ranking is the Hon Thom cable car, connecting An Thoi ward with Hon Thom island, taking visitors across the clear blue sea to admire the panoramic view of the fishing villages in the Phu Quoc special economic zone. This cable car was once recognized as one of the longest over-sea cable car systems in the world , with a total length of nearly 8km. This journey suspended in mid-air is considered an unmissable experience when you visit the Pearl Island.

Following that, the cable car at Ba Na Hills in Da Nang was also honored with the 5th position in the ranking. This journey is remembered by tourists for the magnificent mountain scenery through the cabin windows and the impressive change in altitude.

Travel + Leisure describes the Ba Na cable car experience in Da Nang as a journey through dense primeval forests and rugged mountain peaks, before reaching the cool climate at the summit of Mount Chua. This journey amidst the clouds offers a spectacular transition, allowing visitors to move from the coastal sun into a temperate environment with four seasons in a single day.

Vietnam's other representative is the Vinpearl cable car in Nha Trang, which was honored with the 11th position in the ranking. The sea-crossing cable car connects the mainland to Hon Tre Island, home to a large-scale entertainment and resort complex. From here, tourists can admire the panoramic view of Nha Trang Bay from a height of tens of meters.

Travel + Leisure's list also features many other notable landmarks in Asia. A highlight is the Dagu Glacier Cable Car in Sichuan, China. This cable car is considered one of the highest in the world, taking visitors to an altitude of 4,843 meters to access the perpetual snow region.

In addition, the Ngong Ping 360 system in Hong Kong (China) has also attracted attention for its glass-floored cabins that allow visitors to see through to the Lantau Island Geopark.

Alongside this, Malaysia contributed with the Langkawi SkyCab – a cable car designed to cross ancient rock formations dating back over 550 million years. Other representatives such as the Singapore Cable Car and the Namsan Cable Car in South Korea were also honored for their cable car experiences that allow visitors to enjoy panoramic views of modern cities and bustling port systems.

Through the cabin windows, visitors will be immersed in a breathtaking panoramic view of nature. Experiencing these cable car rides, you'll be able to admire everything from deep valleys to vast green forests stretching to the horizon.

The fact that Vietnam has three cable car lines offering some of the most spectacular views in Asia demonstrates the increasing appeal of local tourism products. Now, cable cars are not just a means of transportation but have become a highlight attracting tourists, contributing to promoting the image of Vietnam on the world tourism map.

According to Travel + Leisure, the structures honored in the list of Asia's 11 most spectacular cable car experiences meet criteria regarding the uniqueness of the natural landscape, the complexity of the construction engineering, and the ability to provide visitors with panoramic views from above.
