International visitors are growing faster than the overall market.
In the first six months of 2026, Khanh Hoa province is estimated to have welcomed over 11.9 million tourists , an increase of 41.6% compared to the same period last year. Of these, international tourists accounted for over 4.6 million, an increase of 66.1%; tourism revenue reached VND 42,793.1 billion, an increase of 25.7%.
Data from the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also shows that the average room occupancy rate in the first half of the year reached approximately 60%.
According to published data, international visitors accounted for approximately 38.7% of the total number of visitors to Khanh Hoa in the first six months. Notably, the 66.1% increase in international visitors was 24.5 percentage points higher than the overall market growth rate.
According to the Provincial People's Committee's report, tourism was one of the sectors experiencing strong growth in the first half of the year. Cultural, sports, and tourism activities such as the Po Nagar Cham Towers Festival in Nha Trang, the Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures, Vietnamese Family Day, and the 6th Cham Ethnic Culture Festival contributed to creating additional products and events to serve tourists.
