Before moving on to a completely new generation, Hyundai continues its selective upgrade approach for the 2026 Tucson to maintain its competitiveness in the C-segment SUV market.
With the launch of the all-new Hyundai Tucson fast approaching, the South Korean automaker has decided to refresh the current version with a final update. Recently, Hyundai UK officially announced the pricing, configurations, and detailed specifications for the 2026 Tucson.
Accordingly, the 2026 Tucson adds three new trim levels: Element, Black Line, and N-Line Edition, alongside the familiar N-Line S and Ultimate configurations which continue to be offered. The starting price for the Element is £30,935 ($41,085), while the Black Line and N-Line Editions are priced from £33,435 ($44,405) and £36,185 ($48,313) respectively.
In the standard Element version, the 2026 Tucson comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, an E-Call emergency calling system, and a smart key with remote start. The interior features cloth seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless charging, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. Additionally, it includes black roof rails and many other basic amenities.
Upgraded to the Black Line version, this SUV boasts a
sportier look with a range of black-painted details such as window trim, mirror covers, and the front logo. It also features LED taillights, rear privacy glass, and 19-inch wheels.
Inside, the interior combines leather and fabric, the steering wheel and front seats are heated, and a 12.3-inch digital display provides a more modern experience. Meanwhile, the N-Line Edition targets customers who appreciate advanced technology and premium amenities.
The car features a smart power tailgate, a head-up display (HUD), heated rear seats, a three-zone independent climate control system, and a premium Krell sound system. It also includes LED Matrix headlights, highway driving assistance, and a host of other advanced driver assistance features.
In terms of powertrain, the 2026 Tucson offers a 150PS petrol engine option, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. There is also a 239 PS hybrid powertrain combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Higher trim levels such as Black Line, N-Line Edition, N Line S, and Ultimate all share these engine options. Support technologies such as digital key access and over-the-air (OTA) software updates are also maintained.
