The 2026 Toyota RAV4 has launched in the Philippines. In its new generation, the vehicle continues to attract attention thanks to significant improvements in design, technology, and hybrid powertrain.
Toyota Philippines has officially launched and announced the pricing for the 2026 RAV4 SUV, indicating that this hybrid C-CUV continues to be positioned in the upper end of its segment. According to the Japanese automaker, the vehicle comes in two versions using a hybrid powertrain combined with AWD.
In the Philippine market, the 2026 Toyota RAV4 is offered in two variants, ADV and LTD, with starting prices of 2.183 million Peso (956 million VND) and 2.499 million Peso (1.1 billion VND) respectively. These are considered competitive prices in the mid-size SUV segment, especially when equipped with a hybrid powertrain.
In terms of design, the 2026 Toyota RAV4 retains Toyota's modern styling language with many angular lines, giving it a robust and muscular appearance. The C-shaped headlights are reminiscent of the Camry, contributing to increased brand recognition.
Despite sharing a common design platform, the ADV and LTD versions clearly showcase two distinct styles. While the ADV aims for a powerful, off-road image with a rugged front bumper, 18-inch wheels, and roof rails, the LTD leans towards luxury with a hexagonal grille, 20-inch wheels, and a large sunroof.
The vehicle's overall dimensions are also optimized for versatile use, with a length of 4,620 mm, a width of 1,880 mm, and a height of 1,745 mm, coupled with a ground clearance of 201 mm. These specifications help the RAV4 strike a good balance between agile handling in urban environments and confidence when navigating challenging roads.
The interior of the 2026 Toyota RAV4 is predominantly dark-toned, with a combination of hard plastics, felt-like fabric, and leather. The new steering wheel and large dual-screen display are clear indications that this is a completely new version.
The center console is neatly designed, with a system of square buttons replacing the traditional gear lever and two rotary knobs from the previous generation. A 45W USB-C charging port and several convenient storage compartments are also present at the front.
Both versions are equipped with a new 12.9-inch infotainment screen, a JBL sound system, and flexible, flat-folding rear seats. The LTD version also adds premium amenities such as leather seats, a head-up display (HUD), and an automatic anti-glare rearview mirror, enhancing the user experience.
In terms of performance, the model uses a 2.5L hybrid powertrain combining two electric motors, delivering a total output of 236 horsepower. This system is paired with an e-CVT transmission and a 55-liter fuel tank, providing a balance between performance and fuel efficiency – a key factor in today's crossover segment.
Toyota also equips the 2026 RAV4 with a full suite of
safety technologies, including a comprehensive airbag system, a spare tire, and the Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance package on both versions. The LTD version also features an adaptive headlight system, enhancing visibility in low-light conditions...
With a price starting from over 950 million VND, the 2026 Toyota RAV4 is not aimed at the mainstream market but at those seeking a high-end, imported hybrid SUV from a strong brand. If it comes to Vietnam, this price range suggests the RAV4 will compete with high-end hybrid versions of the Honda CR-V or other imported C-segment CUVs.
