According to the 2026 Skytrax World Airport Awards, Singapore Changi Airport and Seoul Incheon International Airport take the top two spots for dining. Beyond these two leading hubs, several other global airports earned top honors for their food choices, listed here from tenth to first:

10. Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (United States) 

Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport ranked 10th in the Skytrax World's Best Airport Dining 2026 list, making it the only North American airport in the top 10. Travelers can enjoy Texas barbecue, seafood, and Mexican dishes at popular local spots such as Pappasito's Cantina, Velvet Taco, and Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen.

9. Istanbul Airport (Turkey) 

Istanbul Airport ranked ninth in the list. Featuring more than 115 dining outlets, the airport combines traditional Turkish specialties like kebabs, baklava, and Turkish coffee with a broad selection of international food.

8. London Heathrow Airport (United Kingdom) 

London Heathrow Airport came in eighth place. Travelers can choose from classic British pub meals, fish and chips, and traditional afternoon tea, with options suited for different budgets and quick layovers.

7. Narita International Airport (Japan) 

Narita International Airport took seventh place. Travelers can sample Japanese cuisine at the airport, including sushi, okonomiyaki, and ramen. One of the main dining spots is the Japan Food Hall in Terminal 2, which brings together a variety of regional culinary choices under one roof.

6. Munich Airport (Germany) 

Munich Airport ranked sixth on the list. Its most iconic dining spot is Airbräu, an in-terminal brewery that serves fresh craft beer alongside traditional Bavarian dishes such as sausages, roast pork, and dumplings.

5. Rome Fiumicino Airport (Italy) 

Rome Fiumicino Airport secured fifth place as the highest-ranked European airport on the list. Its dining options focus on Italian classics, serving pasta, pizza, pastries, and authentic espresso.

4. New Chitose Airport (Japan) 

New Chitose Airport ranked fourth globally. Travelers can sample local Hokkaido specialties like sushi, soup curry, and Jingisukan (grilled lamb). The airport also features Hokkaido Ramen Dojo, offering ramen styles from across the region, and Sweets Avenue for treats like Royce' chocolate and LeTAO cheesecake.

Tokyo Haneda Airport placed third on the list. The Haneda Airport Garden, connected to Terminal 3, offers additional restaurants and a food court, making it a convenient option for travelers with longer layovers.

Seoul Incheon International Airport claimed second place. Travelers can enjoy Korean dishes such as sundubu jjigae (soft tofu stew), gomtang (beef bone soup), and jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) without leaving the airport. The Korean Food Street on Floor B1 of Terminal 2 mirrors the lively atmosphere of traditional street food markets.

Singapore Changi Airport ranked first in the Skytrax World's Best Airport Dining 2026 list. With more than 240 dining outlets, ranging from casual cafes and food courts to fine-dining restaurants, it offers endless choices. Many outlets operate 24 hours a day for overnight travelers, who can enjoy local staples at spots like Ya Kun Kaya Toast, Swee Choon, and the Terminal 3 Singapore Food Street.
