A dachshund and corgi cross has melted the hearts of viewers on social media after a video showing the puppy was viewed more than 3.4 million times, prompting hundreds of thousands of likes and a flood of affectionate comments from viewers charmed by the tiny mix.

The TikTok clip was shared on January 15 by the puppy’s owner @emilyymcmillan and features a young “dorgi” puppy sitting calmly on the wooden floorboards of her home. Overlaid text on the video reads, “Ever seen a dorgi? Corgi + dachshund,” while the short footage gives viewers a clear look at the dog’s distinctive appearance, which blends traits from both breeds.

In the post’s caption, the owner wrote that the puppy, named Lottie, is still growing and already showing signs of a strong personality. “She’s still a puppy but I’m so excited to see what she looks like full grown!” the caption read.

The owner added that dorgis are known for being “very sweet and loyal dogs,” describing how Lottie follows her everywhere, is constantly under her feet, learns new tricks within two to three days, and is almost fully house-trained.

“She’s so smart, I love her [so much],” Lottie’s owner wrote.

The video quickly gained traction, amassing more than 344,000 likes as viewers focused on the puppy’s unusual but endearing look. Lottie has brown and white fur, with coloring closer to that of a corgi, paired with the long body and low stature commonly associated with dachshunds. The combination proved instantly appealing to audiences familiar with both breeds.

In the comment section, TikTok users responded with both humor and warmth, often speculating about the dog’s temperament given the reputations of corgis and dachshunds as being stubborn and vocal.

“I guarantee this dog’s attitude is something else,” one viewer commented.

Another joked: “How’s the attitude on that one? Lol [laugh out loud] knowing the personality of corgis and dachshunds I can only imagine.”

Others shared their own experiences with similar crossbreeds.

“I’ve got two dorkies! Dachshund Yorkies,” one user wrote, while another recalled, “My corgi had babies with dachshund before we got her, so I didn’t get to see them.”

Several commenters went a step further, posting photos of their own dorgis and other mixed-breed dogs, turning the thread into an informal showcase of look-alike pups.
