WANDS up, Potterheads! HBO has released the teaser trailer for its upcoming "Harry Potter" TV series, giving fans a glimpse of the magic, adventure, and mysteries awaiting at Hogwarts.
Titled "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone," the series follows Harry Potter (Dominic McLaughlin), Hermione Granger (Arabella Stanton), and Ron Weasley (Alastair Stout) as they take their first steps into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The trio will learn various spells and potions while navigating school life. The teaser also showcases the Sorting Hat ceremony, the start-of-term banquet, Quidditch, and the trio's discovery of the legend surrounding the Philosopher's Stone.
The teaser also features Hogwarts staff members, including Professor Albus Dumbledore (John Lithgow), Professor Minerva McGonagall (Janet McTeer), Professor Severus Snape (Paapa Essiedu), and Rubeus Hagrid (Nick Frost).
The "Harry Potter" series is set to premiere on HBO and stream on HBO Max in Christmas 2026.
