Koln lead race for Mikey Moore loan
Tottenham Hotspur youngster Mikey Moore is reportedly nearing a loan move, with Bundesliga club Koln understood to be leading the pursuit. The 18-year-old attacker has impressed during pre-season and is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in Spurs’ academy system. However, Tottenham are believed to feel that regular first-team football elsewhere would offer the best next step in his development. A temporary departure is expected to be considered before the end of the summer transfer window.
Moore’s versatility across the forward line has made him an attractive option for several clubs in Europe. Although Championship side Middlesbrough were linked with a move, the player is reportedly keen to test himself in one of Europe’s major leagues.
