Superman's suit is getting a slight redesign in Man of Tomorrow, leaked set pictures reveal

Superman is getting a slightly new look in the upcoming sequel Man of Tomorrow. David Corenswet has been spotted on set in Georgia in a series of videos. In one he can be seen lifting something above his head, which we're betting will be switched out with CGI.

However, eagle-eyed fans have noticed another intriguing reveal from the first images (which you can see here). He seems to have a slightly new suit design. If you look closely, you can see that the suit looks tighter than in Superman as well as few details changing. The collar seems to be different with the cape placement moved higher and the iconic logo in the center looks a bit bigger too.

Granted, it's not a huge change to his suit, but it is interesting to see his look evolving in the DCU. Man of Tomorrow is a follow-up to Superman and sees Clark Kent forced to team up with Lex Luthor to battle new villain Brainiac.

Once again written and directed by James Gunn, the movie will see Corenswet, Nicholas Hoult, and Rachel Brosnahan all return as newcomer Lars Eidinger joins as Brainiac. Gunn also recently shared an official look at the film, showing a new image of Luthor's warsuit – and it looks pretty epic.

Before Man of Tomorrow hits our screens, we'll first see Corenswet back as Superman in the upcoming Supergirl movie. Starring Milly Alcock as the titular hero, the film acts as somewhat of an origin story for Kara Zor-El and hits theaters on June 26, 2026.

Man of Tomorrow releases on July 9, 2027. For more upcoming superhero movies, check out our breakdown of all the upcoming DC movies and shows on the way.
