Changan Philippines held the first Changan Tech Talk on May 8, 2026, at its flagship dealership, Changan C5 in Pasig. The event marks the start of a recurring educational series for existing EV owners, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to get the most out of their vehicles.
The initiative is part of Inchcape Philippines’ broader effort to extend its relationship with customers well past the point of purchase. Rather than simply delivering a vehicle, the program positions Changan’s aftersales team as an ongoing resource for EV owners navigating a still-emerging technology.
What happened at the first session
Twenty customers attended the inaugural run, all of them owners of current Changan EV models: the Nevo Hunter K50 Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), the Nevo Q05 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV), the Nevo A05 PHEV, and the Lumin Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV).
Trainers from the Changan Philippines Aftersales Department led the day’s sessions, covering how to handle and operate the vehicles, maximize onboard features, and understand the technology powering each model. The format also allowed for open discussions between customers and the aftersales team, giving owners a chance to raise questions and share real-world experiences with their cars.
Attendees left with positive feedback, many expressing confidence in the reliability and capability of their vehicles. Several said they had already been recommending Changan EV models to family and friends as a practical and sustainable option for daily driving.
