Suzuki Motor Corporation announced that its street motorcycles, the Suzuki GSX-8T and Suzuki GSX-8TT, have secured the Product Design Award at the globally recognized Red Dot Design Award, organized by DesignZentrum Nordrhein Westfalen.
Since its establishment in 1955, the Red Dot Design Award has recognized outstanding design excellence across industries such as furniture, home appliances, automobiles, medical equipment, and IT devices. The awarding body evaluates entries using nine key criteria, including innovation, functionality, ergonomics, durability, ecological compatibility, and emotional appeal.
The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT earned top recognition by translating Suzuki’s classic visual identity into a clearly structured, modern aesthetic. By combining heritage-inspired design with contemporary engineering, Suzuki demonstrates its ability to evolve iconic styling into modern form. This achievement also marks Suzuki’s first-ever Red Dot Award win, signaling a major milestone in the brand’s global design journey.
