BYD Cars Philippines has officially launched the BYD Sealion 7, introducing a new all-electric performance SUV that blends the athletic character of the Seal EV sedan with the practicality and versatility of a family-oriented crossover.
Positioned as BYD’s flagship electric performance SUV in the local market, the Sealion 7 combines powerful dual-motor performance, long-range capability, advanced safety systems, and premium comfort features designed for everyday driving.
Performance at the forefront
The BYD Sealion 7 features an All-Wheel Drive system powered by dual electric motors that produce a combined 530PS and 690Nm of torque. This allows the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
Power is supplied by BYD’s 82.6kWh Blade Battery, delivering a maximum range of up to 542km under the NEDC cycle. Drivers can also choose from four drive modes to suit different road conditions and driving styles.
Designed for everyday versatility
Measuring 4,830mm long, 1,925mm wide, and 1,620mm tall, the Sealion 7 offers generous interior space while maintaining a sleek and modern profile.
The cabin includes power-adjustable and ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, a power tailgate with a kick sensor, and a front trunk that provides additional storage capacity. These features help balance everyday practicality with premium comfort.
Smart technology and connected convenience
At the center of the cabin is a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment display that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The vehicle also comes equipped with a Heads-Up Display, voice assistant functionality, and a suite of connected technologies designed to enhance convenience and usability.
The Sealion 7 also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, allowing the vehicle to power external appliances directly. This feature can be useful during outdoor activities, emergency situations, or power interruptions.

Safety features are anchored by BYD’s DiPilot Advanced Driver Assistance System. The suite includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Assistance, Blind Spot Detection, and a 360-degree camera system with see-through mode.
The vehicle also features Driver Attention Warning technology that uses onboard cameras and sensors to monitor fatigue and distraction, helping support safer long-distance travel.

The BYD Sealion 7 AWD is priced at PHP2,588,000 and comes with a 6-year or 160,000-kilometer bumper-to-bumper warranty, alongside an 8-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty for the Blade Battery.
