Super Bowl LX began as a defensive battle, which was great news for those out there who expected low stat numbers for offensive players. But stats aren't final until they're final. You never know who will get those extra yards or touchdowns by the end.

We're keeping track of all the stats as the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks battle it out for the NFL championship. Whether it's touchdowns, yards, receptions, attempts or completions, we've got eyes on the box score.

Last update — Stats final

Super Bowl touchdown scorers

Quarter Scorer/s
First None
Second None
Third None
Fourth AJ Barner, 16-yard TD from Sam Darnold
Mack Hollins, 35-yard TD from Drake Maye
Uchenna Nwosu, 45-yard interception return for TD
Rhamondre Stevenson, 7-yard TD from Drake Maye

It was AJ Barner who scored the first touchdown of the game early in the fourth quarter while the Patriots struggled to make it past midfield let alone into the end zone. Before Barner's score, it had been all Seattle kicker Jason Myers with field goal makes of 26, 33, 39 and 41 yards, twice. New England finally broke through with two big passes to Mack Hollins.

Super Bowl passing touchdowns

Player Passing TDs O/U
Drake Maye, NE 2 OVER 1.5
Sam Darnold, SEA 1 1.5

Sam Darnold, SEA 19 UNDER / 38 OVER 19.5 / 29.5
Drake Maye, NE 27 OVER / 43 OVER 19.5 / 30.5

Neither quarterback found it easy to complete passes. The ability of the Seahawks offense to move opened the door for Darnold to go over on completions. Far too many three-and-outs left Maye with hardly any attempts until he burst through the door in the fourth quarter.

Super Bowl interceptions

Players Interceptions O/U
Sam Darnold, SEA 0 0.5
Drake Maye, NE 2 OVER 0.5

There had been plenty of close calls for both quarterbacks, but it was Drake Maye who tossed the first interception of the game. It was an unbelievably bad throw.

Elijah Arroyo, SEA 0 UNDER 0.5

Cooper Kupp and Kenneth Walker III topped their expected receiving yards while just about everyone else struggled to produce. That doesn't include AJ Barner or Demario Douglas, who took advantage of their opportunities.

In the blink of an eye Mack Hollins joined the club.

Super Bowl rushing + receiving yards

Player Rush+Receiving Yards O/U

You never know who will pop up and have a big game in the Super Bowl. And you never know the big name who disappears unexpectedly. That's what makes tracking stats so fun. There are always suprises that pop up, for better or worse.

Who could have guessed Malcolm Smith would be the MVP the last time the Seahawks won the Super Bowl? Or that Mecole Hardman would be the hero for the Chiefs.

With Sam Darnold leading the Seahawks and Drake Maye leading the Patriots, the Super Bowl figured to deliver some passing highlights, but both teams also have reliable rushing attacks and stout defenses certain to get into the mix. Everything is on the line for Seattle and New England. Of course, fans at home have their own things on the line as well.
